One class, start to finish

Grouped by when you actually meet them. Everything listed here is built and in the product.

Before the class

Find a class, or be invited to one

Browse open classes, follow the coaches you like, and RSVP. Private classes are invite-and-link only and never show up in anyone else's feed.

Recurring series

A coach can schedule a class weekly and it appears as a series, so Tuesday's ride takes a minute to put up rather than a fresh setup every week.

Calendar and reminders

Add a class to your calendar, and get a push when a coach you follow schedules something or goes live.

Pair your sensors once

A heart-rate strap, a cadence sensor or a power meter pairs in Settings and reconnects on its own the next time you join a class.

During the class

Live video, both ways

See the coach and the room. Turn your own camera off and you are still a full participant — your numbers still show on your tile.

Everyone's heart rate, live

Your bpm and zone appear on your tile for the whole class within a second, from an Apple Watch or a Bluetooth chest strap.

Cadence, from a sensor or your camera

A crank sensor gives an exact RPM. With no sensor, your phone can estimate cadence and seated-versus-standing from its own camera, on the device, marked EST so nobody mistakes it for a measurement.

The coach's stages, on your screen

The current block, its cue and its target, counting down in sync with the coach across every device in the class.

Chat that includes everyone

One conversation shared by phone riders and browser riders, with the coach marked, a filter on abusive language, and a report button on every message.

Apple Music soundtrack

The coach picks an album and it plays for every rider who has an Apple Music subscription, on their own account.

Live Activity on the Lock Screen

Class name, elapsed time and your heart rate on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, so a glance does not mean unlocking your phone mid-effort.

Host controls

Mute or remove a rider, hand the deck to a co-host, and handle reports without leaving the class.

After the class

A recap you can trust

Average and peak heart rate, minutes in each zone, average cadence, and personal bests — counted only from rides we actually recorded heart rate for.

It closes your rings

The class is written to Apple Health as a real workout, so it counts alongside the rest of your training.

Training history

Weekly load, time in zone over time, and how this month compares to the last.

Recovery signals

Resting heart rate, heart rate variability and cardio fitness read from Apple Health, so the app can tell you when you are ready for a hard one.

Zones that correct themselves

If a ride records a heart rate above the maximum your zones are graded against, the app shows you the evidence and offers to raise it — never silently, and never downwards.

A feed worth reading

Ride recaps, personal bests and scheduled classes from the people you follow, with reactions and comments.

On each platform

iPhone

The full class: video, chat, metrics, stages, Live Activity, Bluetooth sensors and camera cadence.

iPad

The same class with a sidebar layout and a bigger grid — the natural screen for a coach running a ride.

Apple Watch

Streams your heart rate into the class and records the workout. Start it from your wrist without touching your phone.

Web

Chrome or Edge on a computer, or Chrome on Android. Bluetooth sensors pair from the browser. No browser on iPhone or iPad can do this — that is an Apple limitation, so use the app there.

Bring what you have

An Apple Watch, a chest strap, or nothing at all. If you want to know whether your bike or sensor works before you buy anything, we keep an honest list.
