Terms of Service

Ride Director is a platform for live group cycling. Coaches use it to schedule and run live sessions, share real-time metrics, and build a rider community. Riders use it to discover sessions, join live classes, track their progress, and connect with coaches and other riders.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Ride Director. By signing in, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental consent to use the platform.

• You sign in using Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
• You must provide accurate information in your profile (name, role, and any other details you choose to share).
• You may not share your account with anyone else or create multiple accounts to evade a ban.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings. When you do, your profile and content will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

If you use Ride Director as a coach, you additionally agree to:

• Only conduct sessions within your area of expertise and qualifications.
• Not misrepresent your credentials or experience to riders.
• Not use the platform to collect payments outside of Ride Director in a way that circumvents our policies.
• Ensure that any content you share — workouts, cues, music — does not infringe third-party copyrights.

You agree not to:

• Post content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation.
• Upload malicious code, spam, or attempt to disrupt our systems.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without our written consent.
• Use Ride Director for any unlawful purpose.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these rules, at our discretion and without prior notice.

You retain ownership of content you create on Ride Director (posts, profile information, workout notes, etc.). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it within the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. Do not share anything you do not have the right to share.

Ride Director integrates with Apple Music to allow coaches to play music during live sessions. Use of Apple Music is subject to Apple's own Terms of Service. You and your riders each need an active Apple Music subscription to use this feature. We do not re-stream or host any audio — each user streams directly from their own Apple Music account.

Cycling is a physical activity. By using Ride Director you acknowledge that:

• You participate in sessions at your own risk.
• You should consult a doctor before starting any new exercise programme, especially if you have a medical condition.
• Ride Director coaches are independent and we do not verify their qualifications. Always exercise your own judgement.
• Heart rate and other metrics shown are estimates and should not be used for medical purposes.

All software, design, and branding of Ride Director is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

Ride Director is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform — including injury, data loss, or loss of revenue.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app. Continued use of Ride Director after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Ride Director will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Arizona.
